With a joint initiative of SKAR and Hart voor Prins Alexander, the first cultural incubator opens in Prins Alexander. A Cultural Hub Rotterdam East, for cultural makers and creative entrepreneurs (local, urban and regional) and Cultural Center for Prins Alexander (space for social and cultural meeting).
Together with the future users, a furnishing plan was made that matches function and use of space and the needs of the users, which is based on the principle of shared spaces & shared services. Here not only spaces and facilities (back office) are shared, but also each other's services and knowledge and experience.
Together with users and third parties, activities are organized around and on the stage, auditorium and outdoor space. Innovative, high-quality programming with local and urban parties. Particularly - but not exclusively - focused on young people and youth communities (youth culture in Oost).
Open Ruimte Beschikbaar van 219m2 op de 1ste verdieping van de aluminiumstraat 6. Deze ruimte moet nog ontwikkeld worden en is nu een grote hal in het midden van de overige ateliers. Deze ruimte kan makkelijk afgescheiden worden door wat wanden rondom de ruimte te plaatsen. In overleg met skar kan hiervoor een nieuwe huurder aanbod komen.
