Dear tenant,
Last Friday we sent you a message about Corona and rent. In it we wrote to investigate the possibility of helping tenants to pay the rent, by giving you jobs that we would otherwise have outsourced to a contractor. We can now say that it is possible: you can sign up.
What was it again? In short: Some of our premises need maintenance. Normally we would commission that maintenance from a contractor. Part of that work will really have to be done by a professional company, but we have calculated that it is possible to organize a very large part of it differently. Think of simple painting or carpentry. That part can be done by tenants who are affected by the corona crisis and cannot pay their rent.
We do this at a rate comparable to that of the contractor. You will then get a job for which the proceeds of your work for you equals one, maximum two months' rent, and that will be deducted: the scholarships will remain closed. We will have the jobs carried out when possible, taking into account the measures surrounding the corona crisis. Payment will be made via a credit invoice that will be charged against the rental invoice, in order to keep it as clear as possible for accounting purposes.
This scheme is for tenants who see their income dry up immediately as a result of the corona crisis and can no longer pay their rent. You can do it for yourself, and for someone you like, but who can't do it yourself.
By the way, it's switching for everyone. The jobs we can have done are limited, and are meant for the people who need it the most. We're assuming we can do this in confidence with you.
We have two types of work: painting and carpentry. Both involve work that does not necessarily have to be carried out by a craftsman. We do want it to be done carefully: we assume a professional attitude. That's why we also need people to help us coordinate the work on the spot.
Via the link below (at read more) you can sign up.
Thank you for your help and understanding,
Olof van de Wal
