New studios available - May offer!

Have you seen the offer page on the SKAR website yet?

New spaces are available again! As many as 26 studios and 7 storage rooms are available for rent for the May offer. In this newsletter, we highlight 3 studios. The full offer can be viewed on the website and will be updated based on availability. Respond through Monday, May 5, 2025 via this link.

After the closing date, viewings will be scheduled on Wednesday, May 7 and Thursday, May 8, 2025. So keep this in mind in advance! Interested parties will receive an e-mail on Tuesday, May 6 with further information.

Please note that you can only respond if you have been accepted to the applicant list or are already a tenant with SKAR. You may respond to multiple studios.

Putsebocht 3 - Atelier available for recent alumni WDK / Piet Zwart

Ateliers available
There are studios available again within the Putsebocht 3 building in Rotterdam! Have you recently graduated from the Willem de Koning or Piet Zwart academy? Then this is an opportunity for you!

The studios are rented for a period of 3 to 5 years. It is allowed to share a studio, provided your co-tenant is also an alumnus of one of the mentioned academies. See our conditions regarding co-tenants here .
SKAR encourages collaboration within the building, and a proactive attitude towards community building is therefore important.

Please note that only alumni of the listed art schools can respond to this offer.

Berkelselaan 44: Studio available for artists of various disciplines

Beautiful bright studio available on Berkelselaan

A studio will become available in the distinctive building on Berkelselaan. This former school building with beautifully high rooms houses 14 studios and has been owned by SKAR since 1991. Artists from a variety of disciplines work in the building - from photographers and painters to poets.

The three-story building is located directly on the street, in the middle of a residential neighborhood. At the rear is a spacious garden, adjacent to the gardens of nearby residents. Tenants, together with local residents, are committed to making this courtyard garden a nice, green place.

Heer Danielstraat 29 - Atelier available in Bloemhof neighborhood.

Atelier Available

There is a studio available on Heer Daniëlstraat. Tucked away in the Bloemhof neighborhood (Feijenoord) is this former school building with a spacious, inviting square. The building has 18 studios and has been owned by SKAR since 1998. Here artists from different disciplines work alongside and with each other.
