As we do every May, we take steps to turn off or set the central heating boilers in our properties to the lowest possible temperature. We do this to help you keep gas bills as low as possible during the warmer months and minimize your energy consumption.
For properties where SKAR manages the energy contract, we have instructed our installation partners to modify the boilers. You may have already noticed; in a number of our properties the boilers have already been turned off. The remaining properties will follow in the coming period. However, for properties where the energy contracts and central heating installations are not through SKAR, but through the tenants themselves or another owner, the initiative lies with the tenants.
Rest assured, in the fall we will restart the central heating boilers, depending on weather conditions.
