On Friday, Nov. 1 at 5 p.m., you are welcome to attend the opening of Triple Solo and Lif Laf Minimal, on not one, but two floors at The Archives.

Triple solo
Artists: Marja Zomer, Milou van Ham, Cor van Rooijen
Artist Marja Zomer is showing "ZOMERSOLO": an installation featuring painting and drawing work from the last decade. On Fridays and weekends, Marja Zomer draws 10-minute portraits. Join in and sign up via a sign-up list for a time slot in The Archives or at portretten@marjazomer.nl
Milou van Ham shows 'ODE AAN ONZE DODEN' and chalks the windows around Het Archief with the names of deceased acquaintances of herself and visitors.
Cor van Rooijen unleashes algorithms on geometry in the film room.
On view on the sixth floor:
Lif Laf Minimal
Artists: Merijn Haenen, Herman Lamers, Leslie Nagel, Petra Noordkamp, Ignacy Radtke, Eva Sijstermans
SKAR has made the sixth floor available in November for an exhibition/installation by six artists.
Merijn Haenen will show an autonomous neon work. Herman Lamers will show a sculptural installation. Also on view are kinetic objects by Leslie Nagel, photographic works by Petra Noordkamp, a "moving environment" by Ignacy Radtke and a monumental painting by Eva Sijstermans.
Both exhibitions are on view through Dec. 1, 2024, and open every Saturday and Sunday from 1 p.m.-5 p.m.
