Lambertusstraat 104 - SKAR

This building has been in SKAR use for a long time and has really been owned by SKAR since 2002. It has 13 studios in which artists from different disciplines are represented. The former school building is located in a lively residential area, close to the shops of the Voorschoterlaan.

A number of renowned artists are located on the Lambertusstraat: Woody van Amen, Olpheart den Otter, Pim van Halem and Jacqueline Spekken. During the Kunstroute Kralingen the artists will open their studios in this building to the public.

Born in Outpost 1974

Living in Rotterdam.
After completing the drawing and painting at AKI Enschede, he studied for a year at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts Bosten. Since 2001, Marius lives in Rotterdam.

After that, he studied the teachers training at the WdkA and teaches classes and workshops. Regularly, Marius makes cycling tours to Hoek van Holland.

On these trips along the beach he finds objects that inspire him. The pieces of wood and shells come from unknown places with their history.

Of the objects he makes chains, drawings and paintings.
