Sylvie OverheulSince 2013, the Rotterdam artist Sylvie Overheul has almost completed her studio.

Sylvie Overheul has always been quite diverse in her work, but recently she has come to a true deepening both in terms of theme and in the technical field, which can be characterised as magical realism. As she herself says: "As if in the labyrinth of years of practice you suddenly know for sure that you have taken the right path".
Sylvie Overheul (1968) studied at the Willem de Kooning Academy in Rotterdam. In addition to her free work, she also paints many commissioned portraits.
As an artist she could be seen in TV programmes such as 'stars on the canvas' and 'this is the day' of the EO. Meanwhile, Sylvie has also received several awards and nominations such as the 1st prize (International Pastel Biennale Poland), two years in a row in the finals of painting of the year (2014 and 2015) and was selected for the prestigious BP portrait award London (2015).
Anna Ramsair"I'm Spinning My Own Canvas
In Anna Ramsair's studio 2D and 3D compete for dominance. After many years of mainly drawing and painting, the clay has conquered a place between paper and linen since 2014. 2D and 3D sand and tumble along and over each other in order to merge with each other regularly. This can be seen in clay-covered paper and drawings that live like a film on the twisted ceramics. Playful, surprising and complex, just like the theme with which Anna Ramsair has connected: urbanity in our current society. For it is the city where she lives and works all her life. Beautiful, compelling and happy, shocking, exhausting and intriguing. Anna makes her way through life in the city and regularly asks herself: what is this about? To make a drawing, sculpture or a drawing on a sculpture in her studio. Or something like that she says herself: "I turn my own canvas".

Marleine van der WerfMarleine van der Werf (NL/ CH, 1985) works as a filmmaker and artist in Rotterdam. In 2010 she graduated from the art academy St. Joost with the surrealist film 'De Perceptionist' (nominated for the René Coelho Prize, NIMK) and the documentary 'Onbegrensd' (a.o. selected for the IDFA Student Competition). In her work she researches ideas about perception, the subconscious and survivability. At the beginning of 2015 she received the Jong Talent (Young Talent) contribution from the Mondriaan Fund and made the multi sensory installation 'Be boy Be girl', which was shown at Art Basel, Fost in New York and Art Show in Los Angeles, among others. At the end of 2016 she made her debut film 'De vrije markt', which was screened at the Dutch film festival.
