On Nov. 25, Magbon officially opened as Culture House at 293 Mathenesserdijk. This unusual building was until recently Lab293. Once serving as an old school and later incubator for theater companies, it has now been given a new purpose. Magbon is not only a place for cultural activities, but also a home for the neighborhood.
The Culture House has a content studio, creative café, a beauty studio and pop stages for various performances and shows. In addition, a cooking studio will soon be added to the offerings. A diverse cultural and wellness program will take place, aimed at and developed with the community, including music performances, creativity development workshops, dinner shows and programs for both young and old from the neighborhood. Magbon is there for everyone and provides a place where culture and well-being come together!
